Washington Avenue Press presents The Thought Bubble Academy, a literacy and creativity initiative created to inspire imagination, confidence, and educational engagement through storytelling, community experiences, and youth-centered programming.

The Thought Bubble Academy encourages children to recognize the power of their thoughts, ideas, and voices through literacy enrichment, creative expression, educational workshops, school visits, reading initiatives, student incentives, mascot experiences, and interactive community events.

At the center of the experience is Ink™, the official mascot of The Thought Bubble Academy. Ink represents imagination, creativity, confidence, and the belief that every child’s story matters. Through future school appearances, literacy engagement, and community programming, Ink is being developed to help bring excitement, encouragement, and positive educational experiences directly to students and families.

The Thought Bubble Academy also powers the Alma Mae Mack Youth Ink Initiative, a creative writing opportunity for elementary students in grades 2 through 5. Through this initiative, children are encouraged to transform their thoughts, memories, and imagination into original stories with opportunities for recognition, publication, and community celebration.

Our mission is to help children understand that their voices matter, their ideas have value, and their imagination can create real opportunities.

Through literacy, creativity, and community partnership, The Thought Bubble Academy aims to create meaningful experiences that inspire young minds and strengthen the next generation of readers, thinkers, creators, and leaders.
